This item is made from 100% Italian merino wool, a sustainable fiber. The fabric was purchased locally as a one of a kind bolt end. Italian merino wool is perferable over Australian merino - a type of wool to avoid due to questionable shearing practices.
The closest to describe the color is a heather hazel tweed. Just beautiful.
